The Spring Equinox, occurring around March 20th, is the point in the year when day and night are nearly equal. It is a time of perfect balance, offering us an opportunity to restore harmony within ourselves. Ancient traditions honored this time as a period of awakening, fertility, and new possibilities. By tuning into the rhythms of nature, we can align our own energies with this powerful shift and invite renewal into our lives.

Practicing the Pause: Steps to Embrace Renewal
Just as the Earth pauses in balance before tipping into longer days, we too can take a moment to pause, reflect, and step forward with intention. Here are some ways to practice the pause and welcome renewal this season:

1. Reflect & Release- Before embracing the new, it’s essential to release the old. Take time to journal about what no longer serves you - limiting beliefs, fears, or habits that feel stagnant. A simple ritual, such as writing them down and symbolically letting them go (burning the paper safely, burying it in the soil, or tearing it up and discarding it), can be a powerful act of release.

2. Connect with Nature: Spending time outdoors helps us attune to the natural shift of the season. Take a mindful walk, noticing the budding trees, the songs of birds, and the scent of fresh earth. Walking barefoot on the grass, sitting under a tree, or simply breathing in the fresh air can rejuvenate your spirit.
